Anyone else got that Friday feeling? Nah, me neither. This week has actually seemed to go quite fast compared to last week (which felt never-ending). I can’t say this all feels ‘normal’ yet but I think we are starting to get into the flow of it.
Amy chose the workout for the morning, it was one we had done previously and I reminded her of how much she disliked it last time. We continued with it however and she did, in fact, confirm her hatred for it. It starts nicely with a 5-minute meditation, creating a false sense of hope for the torture that is to come. Mum said that next time we should just do the 5-minute meditation and skip to the 5 minute cool down.
Reason’s why Megan shouldn’t be allowed in the kitchen no. 4830301. When making Jack breakfast this morning, like the kind human that I am, I forgot that I had already toasted his toast and pressed it down for another round of toasting/burning. He smiled through his black breakfast (I did offer him some more!).
I had my first zoom experience today with a meeting/practise run for the groups that will begin running next week. I always find video chats a bit daunting to begin with, I’m the same with phone calls… not sure where that stems from but you get into the swing of it. We’ll probably all find face to face interaction a bit daunting when it’s legal (crazy when it’s put like that)
Reason’s why Sally should be allowed in the kitchen no. 483402. We had a delicious Spanish inspired chicken stew, with cracking roasties and dumplings – my GF ones were lacking a bit of height but they still tasted great. We also had a second round of profiteroles for pudding which was obviously well appreciated by all.
In the evening I watched another Daisy May Cooper live stream, this one was focused on approaching producers and what to send to them – don’t think I’m quite at that stage yet. Mum and Amy got the watercolour set out and looking at their paintings made me feel very creatively inadequate. Photos were lacking yesterday so you can have a look instead at their masterpieces. (Mum thinks her cow looks a bit like a giraffe, maybe it’s a hybrid)
